Wii U price drop

Am I the only one who predicted a Wii U price drop around the release of the new xbox and playstation?
I don't think the people who bought it up until now were predicting it. This is not going to change people from deciding to buy a new xbox to a Wii U this season. No Fucking way XBOX fans are xbox fans. Even 200 dollar difference won't change the herd from going in their cult direction.

I think what we have here is the best Nintendo could do for themselves. They could have released the Wii U around the same time as xbox and sony, yet I think they had a better idea of releasing it when they did. If anybody was to know that they wouldn't have any games for Wii U for a good long time was Nintendo themselves. They had to make the move and run through the media getting pissed on. Usually when a hit like Zelda comes out the public is made aware of the game a year in advance. So, most of us knew that Wii U wouldn't have shit out this year. Promising Pikmin 3 in April was a joke and classic Nintendo. I like how they said pikmin was in the release titles with the system coming out and then saying that the release was a season window. It is all leading on bullshit that is clearly there and people are still fooled by it.

Now I think the majority of Nintendo fans wised up on this console and the majority of Nintendo fans (with brains) are holding off to buy the console later down the road when all things are settled. It's called being patient. Nintendo put out the system last year to squeeze all they could out of the forefront. Releasing it this season would have been too much console buying for people and they wouldn't of sold as many as last year. They would have looked even more like cunts. So they settled on looking like cunts with a bit more money. This brings back memories of Dreamcast coming out a year before the pack and unlike Nintendo didn't have the net worth to survive.

The good news is the Wii U is awesome. The pad is brilliant and when the new Zelda comes out I will have to clean the giz of my pad every five minutes. The amount of cool shit to come is going to blow all over our faces like a money shot. I get goose bumps thinking about it. The rebound of games to come are going to be serious quality because Nintendo held out and didn't put out a bunch of garbage this year. They are hard at work and making the best games like usual. Hardcore Nintendo fans are still there and waiting patiently to get the Wii U. One game that would seal the deal for me to purchase a Wii U directly would be another Metroid game made by RETRO studios.

 The sales will happen and I myself will be one of the sales. I doubt Nintendo will spike up console sales like the original Wii sports era with families having high priority for the must have system. This is a step back for Nintendo and they missed the mark on making another gimmick. This time they were more true to people and themselves and it might of been the right choice for long term favoring of buying fans. If Nintendo is humble about the mass amounts of money they made with Wii they can get on well with the life span of Wii U. You never know, they might be able to come out with an extension or something that makes the Wii U even more spectacular, something that families must have. I don't doubt their ability to do this one bit. All the developers that have pulled out on Nintendo will look like goons when the smoke clears. I would not expect xbox or sony to have any interesting games coming any time soon and Nintendo will level up like champs.They are the silent killers. They are the most strategic company in my mind and I have respect for there integrity to keep quality high on their priority. I pity the fools that dog Nintendo. I praise what they have to bring in the future.
