The Lolo series 1,2, and 3 are revisited by myself on a regular basis. They are some of the best NES has to offer. I rented this game as kid and remember it being a little too sophisticated for my undeveloped brain. I still enjoyed it and when I came around to it again later on in life it struck me as brilliant and totally involving.
Turn the goddamn mute button on because the music will drive you insane as you are looking at a puzzle for long periods of time trying to figure the mind boggling shit out. If you like puzzles in games like I do than Lolo is a puzzle game you won't forget. Recent portal 2 kind of reminds me of Lolo. I'm not going to give any spoilers about the puzzles in case you haven't played any Lolo games yet.
Lolo 3 for me has the most difficult puzzles of them all. I still haven't gotten all the way through that particular game. I usually have to work on one room for days and think about the puzzle while I'm out away from the game. I wonder if Albert Einstein would have been any good at the Lolo games? Maybe he would have tore that shit up.
