Zelda Ocarina of TIme ruined

I was liking the new textures and didn't mind some of the new movements until I became grown up link.

Link runs in slow motion and it looks terrible. I remember always liking how they made the adult link back in the day and it still is nice to watch link run around.

He is the center of the screen at all times and this crap they put out is so distracting and off putting I put the game down and doubt I will play it again. This is shitty because I'm sure there is nice textures and different design elements in the rest of the game. I may never know due to this nagging problem. It amazes me that nintendo let that through. Why fuck with something that is part of the original recipe that succeeded. I didn't give much thought to the changes with young link. Adult link is too obvious.

I did notice that Nintendo had help from an outside company with this. That also blows my mind that they would even think about handing that utlra classic over to another company.

Bad Fucking moves, Big huge bad fucking move. This game could have blown me away and I will end up scarred thinking of how it fell short.

The original is an epic game that has out dated textures and even some design. At least I can be amazed by links design and movement. Looks like I'm fucked either way. It is likely that the game will never be remade or fixed up again. Maybe in Ten goddamn years.

One day Nintendo has me amazed by brilliant games and on another they have me wondering what the fuck they were thinking.

Zelda Oracle of Shit

A game that was built to make cunts go buy a strategy guide is oracle of seasons and ages. Go ahead and look up used strategy guides for these games and most all I have seen have been beat up and used like no other.

Some of the dungeons are excellent and full of super fucked up, strange puzzles. You definitely have to think out of the box with this game. Other dungeons blow my dick and are not entertaining to play in the least. Switching back and forth for items during hot boss battles or for various reasons get real old real quick. I feel like a zelda slave playing these games.

I know there are many people out there that like to torture themselves with this game. I could imagine that if you know the game in and out and all the puzzles and mystery are gone you might feel like a master. I say any game that pretty much has you needing a strategy guide to know how to go up or down a screen to get through a series of screens to pass through and knowing which season to be in YOU HAVE TO have the goddamn strategy guide. Sure maybe a dickhead across the map will give you the info to pass. Still that is fucked and more of a headache than enjoying some game time.

I will leave these games to people that like that kind of frustrating misery.

Zelda link between worlds has to be played to make sense

Well I've got to celebrate a pinnacle point here and that is three people have checked out my posts. Mind blowing shit ya.

Ok well for two people I'm going to write about a game that has made an impression on me unlike many big hits that have teens and adults hyped to hell.

That game is the 3DS Zelda link between worlds.

When I first checked out articles about the unreleased game I was not impressed and put out by link walking in walls. Shit looked dumb.

Since I recently picked up a 3DS, I got my hands on the zelda and things made a lot of sense and I was drawn into the game. Being a fan of lolo for nintendo I felt like there was rules in this game and the dungeons reminded me of lolo. The 3D doesn't irritate my eyes with this game for some reason. Nintendo figured out how to make that work some how. The 3D is super cool shit and if you bought a 2DS and Zelda you fucked up because this game is all about the 3D, especially when you are in the dungeons.

This game is so incredible It is the best game I've played in years and it is on a damn handheld. I didn't like either of the ds zeldas, fuck using the stylus to move link around. So the only other handheld zeldas that were acceptable were zeldas made by capcom for fuck sake. Something isn't right with that.

Nintendo has an awesome formula with this game and it would be excellent if Nintendo could incorporate the new features in this game into other zelda games. I would be tits for another zelda link between worlds sequel. It would be super cool if they could mix up ocarina of time like they did with the ultra awesome super nintendo link to the past.

This is one of my favorite Zeldas and is refreshing since there are Zelda games that I simply fucking do not like. It feels good to have this gem in my possession.

You never know when a killer game is going to come out. I didn't even know this game was going to be this great. It was a total surprise. Too many shitty games remind us how a few games here and there are epic. So far Link Between worlds, ocarina of time 3D, and Luigis mansion make the 3DS purchase a must. I'm tem

Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon has no option menu?

I'm only going to go over the fact that this game has no option menu, at least not one that I'm aware of and I spent a half an hour looking for one. Why does this matter? The music is too loud and loops every fifteen seconds. It is super annoying and most all games have the option to turn it down or off. Not this kinda fun game that I want to enjoy. I have to turn the audio completely off while I'm searching for a good amount of time for the next way through the mansion. This is awful and a fly in the ointment. It makes me think that the developer has a super ego about his audio work and would be insulted if you wanted to change the audio in the slightest bit. The music is an oboe or something like that and it is too goddamn loud like I mentioned earlier. This blows my mind that this was ignored or forgotten. To much focus going into this fucking 3D has their brains tied up. Good game though, besides that massive, huge, erect, NO audio option!

3DS PMS

I now have a 3DS. I was going to get a 2DS and snapped out of it. The 3DS is pretty cool. I should have got an XL because I can't see shit unless I hold it three inches from my face.

The 3D depends, some games are 2D with different depths (cheap) and others are made like real fucking 3D like luigis mansion. All together The 3D is totally a waste of Nintendo's time, money, and effort. While checking out the degree of all that would have been needed to design all of the 3D shit, they could have put it into some more killer fun games. Fuck the 3D.

Other than that shit the system puts out a cleaner prettier picture than the DS. Not mind blowing though. I want to punch Nintendo in the face for not putting the 3DS games out for the DS as well. Those fuckers say all the time that the money is in the software. Oh really? then why not put games out for a system that you have already sold millions of. Ya know like shitty Twilight Princess being put out for Wii and Gamecube on the same day. If they did I would have definitely not bought the 3DS. I'm a cunt and a total Nintendo whore and I go along with this bullshit. Doesn't matter that they are in 3D, as you may or may not know 3D is optional for all 3DS games which makes it totally possible to be on DS. Why is this Nintendo? Is there not tons of money to be made off your software?? Wouldn't you make tons of money if you sold games for the old console too? Somebody wake me up, I'm in a nightmare.

The only game I would like to have come out on the damn thing is another Advance Wars. If one is never made I will want to slap myself in the face for buying a 3DS before knowing that Advance Wars is coming out.

FUCK the WII U gamepad

It is official I don't like the Wii U gamepad one bit. The shape and the button layout is awful. It is the most uncomfortable electronic device I have ever held in my hands. My wrist is sore after playing for only 15 minutes. I now will have the gamepad sitting somewhere I can't see the piece of shit and will use the wii remote instead. If the gamepad can be used with the remote like pikmin 3 i will lay the gamepad on the arm rest of my recliner while I do everything mostly with my remote. I will also have to turn the gamepad screen off every time I turn on my Wii U. The fact that I have to use the gamepad for certain shit like the store or the system options, means that the gamepad has to stick around and can't be thrown out a window.

The fact that I can't turn off the gamepad completely while playing games is bullshit and I think Nintendo will be coming around with a fix for that in an update real soon. So far I'm super let down by this new Nintendo system. I predict that this will be the worst Nintendo system as far as sales and game sales go, all because of the gamepad.

Message to Nintendo:
Make a better gamepad or ditch the fucking thing. Make the games 100% usable with a wii remote. If there is something that can pop up on the gamepad, create the ability to have the same thing pop up on the tv screen if the wii remote is on.

By the way I played Nintendo land and didn't give a fuck about the innovations, very few people will give a shit about these. Holding this huge gamepad up for different bullshit or over using the touchscreen is tedious and boring. I don't like any of the ds zelda games because of the touch screen garbage that you have to use in order to play the games. It is laughable that Nintendo land is 60 dollars retail, what a joke. Lucky for me I didn't pay that to play it.

Dear Nintendo YOUR Wii U game pad is shaped like shit

I'm listening to soothing music right now because Nintendo is breaking my heart. In my recent purchase of a Wii U, my experience is disturbed by the button placement on the right hand side and the shape of the entire pad. The shit is fucked. I don't think it is a matter of getting use to it. The button layout is bullshit and doesn't work right. My wrist has to move way to much to get to the buttons. The main problem is the a,b,x,y, buttons located below the joystick. I'm having to get back and forth between the trigger, the stick, and the a,b,x,y, using my wrist. It is a broken setup and it pisses me off because it is going to be a problem for every fucking game that will be on this Wii U.

If you want to go along with Nintendo and play their games you have to be on board with whatever they are trying to make money off of. Fuck being innovative if you can't even get the basics right. This poor design is so shitty. I now am preparing myself for a new design that Nintendo will have in the future to fix this pile of shit problem. If I want to play a new more comfortable game pad I will have to buy another one.

After giving it some thought I realized that the feel is similar to how the Sega Dreamcast controller was set up. Sega made a block like controller that had straight up and down sides. This makes you have to turn your wrists in to go to the buttons, or simply to hold the fucking thing. If you look at the PS3 controller the shape goes out so that way you don't have to turn your wrist. It has a more natural feel and plays smooth. I made a drawing to show you how the Wii U pad should be shaped for comfortable play. Notice I turned the d-pad on the left side slanted somewhat to go with how your hand would be positioned. Makes no fucking sense why it has been straight all along. Also under the right joystick there is only one button that the thumb can easily slide down to. The other buttons could be added in other places that the thumb can get to without breaking the wrist. I also think that there can be a button in the joysticks when you push forward with more pressure. Now days they have joysticks/thumbsticks that you can push down, this is different. I mean as you push forward against the stick. This could be used for running. It would be a nice addition yet irrelevant to my main concern in this post.

Below is the backside and look at how I changed the triggers to be slanted some to go with natural straight wrist angle of the hand on the game pad.

This way it is all smooth and the thumbs are the only thing that has to move around (not the fucking wrist). Nintendo has made the same mistake as Sega Dreamcast, that is laughable. Especially since Nintendo was in competition with them at the time. Did they not hold the game pad in their hands for an hour or two to really get an idea of what I'm explaining here. FUCK. This is the way it should be NINTENDO. Sad I have to point this out to a company that has been making controllers close to thirty years. It is safe to bet that Nintendo already knew about this and went around it for size attention. If they were to make the pad like I have drawn out, it would be wider and appear bigger. So this could be a case of looks rather than functionality. Also the bigger it is the more room it takes up in shipping. Still both of these reasons should not take priority over function. One other thing I can't leave out is the shape is familiar to other touch screen pads that people have knowledge of. Only thing is they function different and are not god damn video game controllers!

This is how a controller should be shaped for anyone that is not clear on the matter
Now put a screen in the middle of it

Now take a look at the wrist turned in while this fella is playing his Wii U game pad.
Now what will this guy have to do if he wants to push the buttons bellow the joystick on the right side of the game pad? You got it right, he will have to turn his wrist out. Damn you are smart. If you dig what I'm writing here make a beef in forums and anywhere that Nintendo can get a whiff.

Examine the wrist going in while holding a Dreamcast controller.

I must give attention to the new Steam system controller. This controller is setup to work the thumbs well. In my opinion it is super genius and I will want to get my hands on it. I like how they position the buttons on the side of the two thumb pads. Check it out bellow. Take a look how the handles bulb out to fill the space in your hands so you have to grip it less. It looks so snug. So beautiful. Who ever is on the team that came up with this brilliant game pad should be given the nobel prize.

*UPDATE* 10/12/13

I thought about how Nintendo could simply make a cover or a slip in that would have the sides that extend out and fit in the hands. This seems like a reasonable thing they could do. So far I have found one product that is similar to what I'm describing. Still this product doesn't do shit because it doesn't come out on the sides for the wrist support. Take a look at the pic below.

Having the hand grip below the system does jack shit for thumb stick and button use. Change the shape and this thing could be just what I'm looking for. Simply take the grips off the bottom and put them on the side.

My First Impression of my new WII U

Actually my WII U is not new it is used. I picked up a super good deal on ebay and my purchase arrived today in the mail. I got right into it and set it all up. It took all day to fuck around with it and figure out what I needed to do to have it going the way I want it to.

The main thing that I kept drawing my focus to was the game pad. I was astonished by this thing. The screen has super good quality and the size of the screen is primo. There was a lot of attention to detail put into the construction of this thing. One detail that seems off and definitely not right is the controls with the right hand. The four buttons under the joystick are placed kinda fucked up. I have to use my wrist more than I would like to switch between the trigger, the button on top and the joystick. It doesn't smoothly work all together with keeping my hand in the same position. I have to use my thumb flat and press some of the buttons close to my joint in my thumb. This is not like I'm use to with using the tip of my thumb. I have no clue how Nintendo could fix this since players have different size hands. Either way any size hand will have to deal with this to some extent. Another thing that is fucked is the edges around the pad stick out and are kinda sharp and not flush. This irritates my hand as I'm trying to deal with this fucked up button setup. This lowers the quality of the product big time. How could they let that pass by inspection when designing it? I rigged it up with some tape to help and it does. Fuck buying a cover.

Now for the good things. Options are what I want and there are options with the game pad and tv adjustments. I'm not going to go over every damn thing it does. I will bring up switching between the game pad or tv if you want to. This is cool shit because I have a shitty tv and it is nice to play some on the pad to enjoy the 1080 view. I also like the fact that it has a headphone jack and a physical volume slider on the top of the game pad. Wait I have to switch back to bad things, the touch screen is not a sensitive as I think it should be. I've got to push down a little to hard to get shit to move around.

Basically my first impression is this is a good effort on Nintendo's part and I like this gamepad action. It didn't take long before I could point out things that were not solid quality like the button placement and the edges on the game pad most notably. Of course Nintendo will put out a new improved game pad at some point because I could not imagine that they are going to keep this design for the full life span of the WII U. As Is I would say that the setup is worth 250 dollars.

As far as the game play mixing up by showing extras on the game pad different from the game on the screen has potential. Unfortunately I get the feeling that Nintendo might not use this as much as they originally planed to use it. Either way I don't give a fuck as long as they don't throw some garbage bullshit in to show that they did what they said they would. When it says look at the screen or look at the game pad. My neck motion going back and forth and think about how I have to move to do this is going to get real fucking old real quick. The move the game pad or TV should only be for super good content and nothing else.

I would much rather have this game pad idea than waving a wii remote around like a fool. I would also rather have this game pad play than a regular controller like Xbox one or PS4. Yes, It is innovative and I think that any better tech that the other companies have over Nintendo doesn't make that much of a difference and all those third party games that will probably end up being 50 dollars will be excellent on WII U. Big beef with people is online gaming and they will go where the population is and that is Xbox one of course. Well, fuck em' they can go play there meat head shooters. As for the tech part of it, if that was a big concern of mine I would get the third party games for my pc which I will do anyway.

Dear Nintendo and who ever the hell cares

I analyzed sales figures at wikia which can be viewed here Gamecube sales. What I noticed is Wii U is similar to Gameube sales. Nintendo obviously were lucky as a mother fuck to do as well as they did with Wii sales. Wii sales peaked and dropped down. Nintendo really hit the ball out of the park with creating Wii sports. That game is what created the buzz. People liked the idea and they wanted to play the shit. Now families were super interested and the demographics had expanded. Nintendo wasn't hustling only nerds sitting alone in their rooms, now they were the cream of the crop selling to everyone that could swing a plastic tube.  I was one of the many that wasn't impressed and I was the nerd sitting alone in his room. This gimmick attempt paid off for Nintendo, however it did scar me and gave me new insight on Nintendo and what whoring yourself out can do. It was a legit whoring and they are business people. I am a video game hungry asshole that needs his games. Nintendo came through and put out a few classics for the Wii, still the whole system idea is something I would rather forget. Now the Wii U game pad is now another question.

Now that Nintendo's cash crop has dried up and their new attempt isn't bringing in nearly the same amount, Nintendo falls back down to where they were over a decade ago. I think Nintendo had a big ego after the Wii success and thought they had a recipe for domination. The 3DS was balls out and totally the wrong fucking move. The Wii U had to happen. They were not ready and it did not matter because time was up and they had to release something. The Wii U was the best they could do because they couldn't make another Wii with a swing around remote because people were tired of the gimmicky bullshit idea. They also couldn't go too far out and come up with something too risky because of the 3DS sting, so they went in between with something they felt more safe with. Besides what could they have come up with? I think they followed the money trend of tablets and that is already taken over by other companies. What Nintendo came up with is cool in my mind however it is kinda gimmicky and people are keen to that by now.  The Wii was far out and took balls for Nintendo to release. Of course it did far beyond good in sales. Wii U is not balls out, it was a safe play and more ordinary, so the return will match their risk.

Another point is adults like violent games and sports games so they go to Sony and Microsoft for that. So, people would be buying a Nintendo for their kids however why would they buy a nice tablet that could be broken easily for their kids? The investment of more than 400 dollars once games are bought with the system is not one that average income people are willing to take a risk on.  I think the game pad itself is the reason Nintendo has not sold more units to families. Also why would families buy something that the kids would fight over, since there is only one game pad? They sure as fuck wouldn't buy four of those game pads so all the kids have one. That is way too much money to spend for a damn Nintendo toy. Basically the Wii U is too nice and too expensive to buy for their destructive children. Oh yeah and you can't leave out the Ten dollar raise on games. This all adds up in parents heads. This all will be thought of. This is not a five dollar toy to shut the kids up on a trip. This is hundreds of dollars matched up with the hundreds of dollars you also have already spent on each of the kids like touch screen computers and android phones. Or simply Nintendo is for pussies among the new generation and most kids will only ask the parents for the Xbox One. The herd usually only goes in one direction. Pretty much it is all up to Mom and Dad.

Mom and Dad liked the Wii so they could spend fun time with the whole family. Wii U doesn't live up to that in the least bit. It sends the kids back off into their rooms to play by themselves and grow more distant from the family. Nintendo wanted to go back to their core gamer's and I have no fucking clue why they did that. Something that the entire family can enjoy with each other at the same time is the selling point for mega bucks. This is where Xbox and Sony are investing and they are also investing to the single loner. Both will bring in the money. Takes us back to one person sitting there with the tablet and the rest of the family holding old Wii remotes. The setup is off putting because who gets to hold the tablet and why is that tablet even there in the first place? It simply confuses the crowd. Swinging the Wii remote around like idiots was so much easier and less complicated for the uncoordinated casual player i.e. Mom, Dad, and aunt Judy.

I read an article lately were a fella was saying that Nintendo could do a lot better if they ditched the game pad. I think he might be right and that would be wild shit if they do. Nintendo would have to update their systems to run controllers with out the pad being mandatory to start up the system. That and the pad being able to be completely off while using a classic controller or wii controller. Then Nintendo's move would be selling the console with a wii remote and a classic controller for less than it is being sold now. Maybe in the 200 dollar area. I strongly predict that they will do something like this sometime within two holiday seasons. Of course the game pad bundle will still be on the market and optional to use with games. Nintendo will have to be clever and not make it look like they are going backwards. I did read that Nintendo is asking all third party developers to make the games to be able to play without the game pad and optional to play with classic controllers or Wii controller (this could be a rumor).

Nintendo could also set it up where you could buy the Wii U console alone for 150 and set up a way to use the 3DS as a game pad or controller. That would be awesome and give people more incentive to go out and buy a 3DS. You could have a Wii U and a  3DS close to the same price as a Wii U cost today. Yes I might be brilliant, Nintendo you sons of bitches I know you have thought about this. Do it, I like the idea.  They might have to make a new improved 3DS still I think it would be good shit and I would be down for that because then I could play some 3DS games as well.

One thing that Nintendo could do that other companies don't have right now is the ability to have shooter games that nobody can watch other players screens to see where they are at. Now three friends could bring there game pads over to one persons house and have a lan party style setup without having to bring over the system. This would have been awesome for Goldeneye back in the day. I would like to think there are people out there that still have physical friends that like to get together and party it up a bit including video games in the mix. If anything would kill this idea it would be the mass majority of people play online and don't give a shit about getting together for some game time. Passing a Wii remote around at a party limits the involvement when 1 player games are on. Tell me that playing Goldeneye with all your friends back in the day wasn't worth buying all those controllers. To me it was worth it and I had all four controllers set up for some serious battles. That was over a hundred dollars to get those controllers.

No other console has the game pad with the screen. Nintendo could do some damage with this because people love those damn shooters and spend billions for them. Make the shooters friend gathering and fucking fun as shit and bang Nintendo is on top of the market again. One thing for sure people wouldn't have to deal with lag or play in rooms that have twenty people in them. If they do want that they could mix the lan play with online play if one of the buddies can't make it over that night because they are grounded. This is the only way I could imagine people investing in extra game pads. The hardcore gamer's will spend their entire paycheck on gaming shit. I do think people look for a good reason to get together with friends. Even though the majority of people play online, Nintendo could set the standard for playing with friends in one room again. The internet has given us major abilities and it has also turned us into faceless people. Human interaction is shit, with games it is high times. When you shoot someone down you don't see their reaction online. All you get is some twelve year old cussing. This way you can see your friends face turn red and have some drinks while laughing about it.

Nintendo survived during different sales figures over the decades and they have been able to put out classic games that are more memorable to me than any other company. The future isn't clear for Nintendo, the past is and if you take a look at the shit they have survived through you can get an idea of what Nintendo can handle in the future. Only difference is money is power and Nintendo doesn't match the power that Sony and Microsoft have. If those companies wanted to crush Nintendo and that was their purpose they have the money to do it. Nintendo one day might be making games for Sony and Microsoft. I cringe at the horrible truth that might be. They might be working on some big hits to come out, unfortunately I don't think any of the titles they will come out with will boost sales up as high as the Wii had. I for see sales parallel with Gamecube through out it's more than likely five year life span. Even if Sony and Microsoft keep their systems going for 7-8 years, Nintendo might have to come out with another console if Wii U doesn't do any better than what Gamecube did. Likely that focus would be on a new handheld first since the 3DS lifespan will be up here in a few years.

Come on Nintendo it's time to shine, unleash the genius.

Wii U don't

I purchased a Wii U yesterday and it will be coming in the mail sometime. Question is did I fuck myself? Is Nintendo going to have at least two epic games within Wii U's life span. I look back on the Nintendo consoles all the way back to SNES and realize that each only averaged about five games that are damn good. Even with Xbox consoles and the Sony consoles I have owned over the years really don't have many memorable games. I have a high standard and don't fuck around when it comes to gaming. Like Warren Buffet understanding value, the same goes for video games here.

I played "not so" New Super Mario bros. Wii U game at Best Buy when it first came out and was looking right at the boxes that where available on the floor which was one due to Best Buy trying to deceive shoppers into thinking that was the last one left. I only played the game for a minute and didn't feel right about it. The whole thing seemed like a real big fucking over. I felt like I was looking at a glorified original Wii that now had a tablet. I didn't mind the tablet. I felt like the next generation wasn't really much different and now if you wanted to jump on the bus with Nintendo you had to pay 300 bucks and an extra ten dollars for HD games. I decided to wait at least a year before I considered buying a Wii U. Well I lasted a year and said fuck it and went ahead and took the plunge and bid on a Wii U console. I don't think that console prices will drop anymore than 50 dollars for at least 3-4 years. If I'm wrong and the price drops more than 50 dollars within the next two years I'll be a cunt. Figuratively speaking of course.

The fact that you can't buy more tablets at the store right now seems a little odd. There are a lot of things that seem odd about Nintendo's choices with this console. If Nintendo fails to sell enough consoles will they not have the motivation to put out epic games for this system. Why should they if they won't see any return and possibly a loss. They could know in advance how well game sales could be if they know how many people own the console. If that is not the case then Nintendo would be confident that people will buy the console to play the hit game, which does happen of course. Will people give a shit anymore about remakes like Zelda and Metroid or will they turn their business else where to Sony or Microsoft's direction? Skyward Sword has sold 3.6 million as of September 2013. Grand Theft Auto Five sold 1.5 million copies in the first 24 hours in the UK alone. Goes to show you how Nintendo Is getting crushed in sales figures. The grand scale of games takes shit loads of money and industry power. Nintendo will have to figure out a way to survive against this and they will have to be smart as fuck. Fucking customers over isn't a good strategy. Die hard old school Nintendo fans will fade away and those left won't be enough to keep the juice.

I also read an article which Nintendo stated that they are going to put out more 1st party games without the help of other companies for development. This could bring even less games to the table. Nintendo and myself are confident that they will sell more systems once the big hits come out. Of course I want that to happen so Nintendo can continue to entertain me. If it doesn't this could be a major turning point for Nintendo. I read Nintendo built a new Nintendo studio that cost them 300 million. The last thing I want is Nintendo going backwards. Competing with Sony and Microsoft is foolish because those are mega companies that have way more money. Nintendo tried to make something different and I'm not sure if it is that much different from what is already out there and the cool features that the system has I think will go right passed people. The features are not mind blowing and people have not created a buzz and so there is no hype like there was with Wii sports.

brief intermission

Nintendo must know that most of the people that play their systems are toy destroying kids. What the hell are they doing making a tablet for children. Obviously most of these tablets will be destroyed and I don't think parents will be compelled to buy a replacement, especially when they find out there is none at the store and costs over a hundred dollars to buy from Nintendo directly. They will have the opinion that Nintendo puts out shit and put the console in the corner of the room in a pile with the rest of the kids toys. This makes me believe that Nintendo will put out a different game pad soon that will cost them less to make and will be more durable. Of course it will have a new feature like better resolution or bigger/smaller screen. It is total bullshit that you can't play the Wii U with the wii controllers. The game pad has to be on the entire time the Wii U is on. Absolute Total bullshit.

If Nintendo does fail with this console they might as well do something cool as fuck like make a cartridge system again with traditional game pad. That would be so fucking awesome if they did that. No more shitty loading and no more listening to the machine turn the disc for information every five seconds. They could make super cool cartridges now that solid state drives are out there. Of course this will happen when my dick grows two feet. The digital download will rule the future. Fuck there is something for Nintendo to really have people by the balls. They could have a new console that has no disk compartment and only downloads games from the internet. One day I imagine that will be the case. Maybe a system or two away if Nintendo can survive that long. It does seem like if Nintendo was to leave the home console biz for a while to focus on handheld, the hand held could hook up to the television with some kind of cord or streaming box.

Fuck whatever it takes to keep Nintendo alive. I don't think I could live without Nintendo. It has been life support for me. I think Nintendo is smart enough to figure out how to stay alive in the market. I would think they don't have to have billions of dollars to keep making fun games. It will be a sad day if they ever have to join forces with a bigger company. If that day comes you can kiss the quality control good bye. If Nintendo dies out many years from now, I would assume they will join the likes of Sega in exclusively making games. When the next generation takes over Nintendo, will they have the same imagination and passion for the company as the company heads have had and continue to have?

Nothing is announced for next year so that is not good at all. We might get one game that is awesome around 2014 Christmas season. If you know anything about anything you know that if Nintendo has a huge title coming out it is announced at least a year in advance. I will let you know what I think of the Wii U once I receive it and have some intimate time alone.

Darksiders is the shit Darsiders 2 is shit

Darksiders is a game that came out of no where and I'm glad it did. This game has some heavy puzzles that will boggle the brain, in a pleasing way. Whatever year it came out I remember it was the best game out that year.

Darsiders 2 is shit. Maybe the game gets better as you play, three hours in for me was enough to stop playing it. The second isn't really anything like the first. If you haven't played the first and you have played the second, you have not yet truly experienced Darksiders.

Sure this is a hack and slash game, that is only a small part of the game. The game changes as you play through. The weapons change and the boss battles are all unique and have different strategies. The puzzles is mainly what kept me glued to the TV. The puzzles are amazing and are well thought out. Some of them had me down right pissed off. Once I would figure out a puzzle I would have full satisfaction.

There is a good amount of time in this game and plenty of variety that kept my interest. The game is beautiful and riding around on a flaming horse chopping fuckas up is a good time.

Replay is not so great with this game. This is a one time through game for me, leaving me with only sweet memories. Some games are better off that way and I'm ok with it, if the game is awesome. This game is awesome and more affordable now. It is a classic.

A Brave New "video game" World

I think the video game world could use a change. This is what I would like to happen:

Since it is pretty much inevitable that games will most all be download only in the near future I might as well get something out of it.

What if there were sections of games like episodes that were available for download at different periods of time. This way developers don't have to spend a ton of money on a game and they can find out real quick if they have a good game on their hands. Each episode could be $10-$20. The developers would make a playable hour or two and hold on development until they find out what the interest is in the game. This would be one episode or section sold at a time.

Also this could allow player feedback and the players could have some say on what could be changed for the better in the next episode, for example controls or options. This always seems like a problem with most games that come out.

Capcom could have saved millions of dollars with Resident Evil 6 development if they would have gone with this idea. People would of said this is shit like they did and they could have fixed the problem or abandoned the project.

Each episode could have new flavor and carry new ideas into the whole thing. Seems like most games are long and drawn out with the same shit until the end. So let me pay for sections and If I like your game I will buy more. If you really want to do good business and get my interest have a playable free demo.

In a way this is already happening with full games like Halo, 2, 3, 4. It is the idea that is continuing and I'm saying that it doesn't have to be that way and more enjoyment for players and more money for developers is possible. Instead of making these huge filled in long games, put out shorter versions that have more genius and more involvement. I would like to see this instead of going through levels simply to beat the fucking thing since I have already invested ten hours into it. This is not first class gaming. Dead Space 3 is a perfect example. Sad thing is there are only a handful of games that have my full interest all the way until the very end.

There are a lot of shitty games and to think of all the time and money that went into those games could have been saved if they would have let people sample a part of the game before developing the whole thing at once. Such a pity and it does hurt the gaming industry because losing money creates fear for ambitious game ideas. The safe way is to follow the leader and keep making the same thing over and over again.

Think about it. If you put out a fucking awesome section of a game every three to five months and you had a keeper and people were loving the game you could keep adding on to the game for years making way more off people than releasing a full game every two years. Also the developers would have more interaction with what the players like and don't like.

This is one way that I would be ok with download only games. No second hand circulation means lots more money for developers. This would also put a stop to rental. So, this means that the games have got to be first class, top notch.

After all the episodes have come out and time has passed the full game could then be sold on disc. Kind of like a movie in a theater making its way to dvd.

The entire system could be explained to the public and once the public is on board, spending small amounts on downloads could be the norm.

I'm tired of shitty fucking games that are $60. Most all of the video game industry is fucked and this is how I would like to see it changed one day (SOON). Death to ripping people off. Death to developers fucking themselves over.

The one thing that games have now is huge built up hype. Zelda can be announced years in advance and people begin to want that shit bad. It would be a different world if you were going away from that hype and turning it into another kind of hype. If a first episode is a big project for a company than the same hype can be built up for it and the mega sales that happen on day one can still be there. People will be hungry for the next part of the game. It is kind of like waiting a week to see another episode of Dexter. It is fresh on the mind and the entertainment is there.

The possibilities are endless.

Maybe there is someone out there that is reading this that digs the idea. If you do spread it around.

Destroyed by Donkey Kong Country Returns

Do you want to play a game that will piss you off like no other? If you are on board you will want to play Donkey Kong Country Returns.

This game is hard as hell and if you can get to the end of the game without smashing your Wii into bits you are a winner. Beside the game being difficult it is loads of fun. New Super Mario Bros. Is a bit difficult, DKCR is about a hundred times more difficult. You will die a lot. Good thing is Dying doesn't set you back, there are plenty of lives and checkpoints.

Shaking the Wii remote to stomp gets old after a while and it does make me wonder why Retro didn't add the option to use a button for stomping and such. Getting over that the game is very good. The mechanics are good which is a relief because if you fucked that up in a side scroller we would have a problem. The game is beautiful and this is good for my eyes. There is some strange hypnotism stuff in it like bananas circling the screen each time you start a stage or other strange cut scenes with hypnotizing music. Maybe you notice it too or I'm simply fucked in the head. It's like the game is trying to get into your head with all of the difficulty and hypnotism. It definitely got inside my head. It didn't take me that long into the game to simply forget about puzzle pieces. I would sometimes get the kong letters. If you can get all kong letters and all puzzle pieces you are a grand master of super hard games. I commend you if you have done this.

I would suggest getting a ton of alcohol and play this game with friends because of the fun factor involved. I think you will need to be sober as a nun with this game. You will need every bit of brain power you can muster up. So this might be an excellent game for friends after and AA meeting.

Retro did an excellent job with this game and have kept the side scrolling Donkey Kong alive and well.
Looks like another Donkey Kong is coming out here soon. Nintendo is closer to getting me to buy a Wii U.

DEATH to Downloading

I have been thinking about how I will likely not have tangible copies of games in the future and that kinda pisses me off. I want to blame shoppers for buying downloadable games, however the gaming industry is strategically creeping it in with favors. What might these be?

Early release. You can get the copy before hand and this is the big weapon in the arsenal. One thing most gamer's lack is patients. Either way if it becomes the norm to blow sixty dollars on a downloaded game people won't know the difference in the future. The game industry has waited for the majority of people to have internet for the gradual switch. Looks like that time is here.

I haven't played Payday 2. I watched a preview and wasn't impressed. I read an article that Payday is selling well over a million units and 80% of sales were downloaded. This is a sign of times. Think about it, this game isn't even a big hit. The game industry is going to go for this shit hard with most games now.

Using tactics like extras in the game as a bonus for download only would be super fucked, this is likely to happen.

Gradually games are being raised in price and now the downloading is saving the company more money. The biggest thing they are saving money on is the used copies not circulating. If all the game companies can get this to go within the next few years, the whole used game issue that came about won't be an issue. The issue takes care of itself through a different route. Makes me wonder why they brought the used copy issue up in the first place?

Notice you are not being shipped a copy of the game with the downloaded game. You are paying the same price and not getting the copy you could of got if you would have waited for the game in store launch date, or shipped to you.

If you download games that are in stores or available at internet stores you are supporting the future of games not being tangible. You are supporting the fall of used games and the ability to buy used games. You are fucking yourself big time. If you don't like a game that you downloaded you are shit out of luck, you can't sell it on ebay or take it down to the game shop. Nope, your stuck with your new shitty 60 dollar game that you had to download. Want to take the game over to a friends. Pack up your console even if your friend has a console. This is crap and this is what you are getting with this download bullshit. The companies will be rolling in the dough and you will be dumb fucks. Be smart and keep things in line fellow gamer's. I don't believe that so many people could be tricked so easily. It looks like it with Payday 2.

My solution is make the downloadable games 30-40 dollars and the tangible games at the store 50-60 dollars. More people will go for the download and there will be less second hand sales. The smart person will buy the tangible because they can sell it for 45 dollars on ebay and only be paying 20 dollars to play the game. This takes effort and people are fucking lazy so game companies can rest assured knowing that the downloads will take front seat. What the hell is a matter with these companies. Why hasn't this already taken place? I think a lot of people wait a month for game prices to drop on ebay because most think a game is worth about 40 dollars to play anyway. If this wasn't the case everybody would be going to buy the game first day for $60.00. Only way to know for sure is to know how much the second hand business is making off games and compare it to new retail sales. If you knew all the numbers and added the total number of sales by 40 dollars that is how much a company could expect to make if they were to drop the download price down to 40 dollars.

If the price is right I will get in bed.

Katamari Forever tripping mad nuts

Do you want to play a game that is fucking crazy as fuck? Well, get your mushrooms and a copy of Katamari Forever and have yourself a trip. This game is awesome, it is also frustrating as hell. I played this game for many hours missing now in my life. It was all worth it because this game is magical.

The game mechanics are simple and the game play is not so simple. Once you get things down you can get to killing the game.

The music is super cool and goes along with the game. The game is so unique and different, it is fresh and I'm hungry for new ideas in games. There isn't enough different games out there (that are good). Some developers give it a try and miserably fail.

In the game there are different setups of how you will roll up the landscape so it isn't the same thing over and over again. There is plenty to do in each place you visit and a lot of pressure to get your shit right. This will take some trial and error to figure out the best route to roll up things. It feels good to get a high score in this game. Other games with scores don't make me give a shit about getting a higher score like this game does. A little pride comes with it. Especially when you wanted to throw your controller through your TV screen so many times. It is all worth it because the game is top notch enjoyment. If you have at least one friend and a 30 pack of shitty beer this game is perfect for your bi curious engagement. Actually I think this would be a perfect game to play with a lady friend. She will have lots of fun which equals her playing the game through the night while you go in your room and finish yourself off.

The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Super awesome dungeons and filled with other crap

It is interesting to me that when I first played through this game I didn't like it at all and felt that a good chunk of my life had been shit on since I didn't like Twilight Princess one bit and now this game was pissing me off. I went back months later to play it again since I remembered somethings about it that were calling out to me.

First I will explain what I didn't like and still don't like about the game. The first hour and a half of the game is total shit. Fuck all that pre learn how to play the game crap. What about when you replay the game again? All of that is garbage to get through. So the good thing is I can copy a save file at the point where the game picks up for me and start from there each time. The beginning of the game for me is when you go into the first dungeon. Next I do not like that big spiky thing that comes out of the center of the pit three times in the game. I don't even remember what it is called. Some of the sword movements don't work so well with the remote and it pisses me the fuck off that I have to double take most moves. The flying around in the sky part is shit and it wastes my god damn time flying from place to place. This game really has some filler bullshit to make it a longer game. Most of it is ok and adds to the enjoyment, some though is down right crap on Nintendo's part. Going in and out of the cloud to go back and forth for different reasons is a really good huge waste of time. Fuck having to spend huge amounts of time on pointless shit. Windwaker is the worst with this. The dungeons are my favorite parts of Zelda games and it makes me wonder why there isn't more focus on dungeons and less focus on flying around or riding horses. Fuck all that shit. Give me the guts of the game. One more thing that is super dumb is when I would land in the wrong area and realize I need to get to another area right by where I'm at. I have to go back up into the clouds and drop back down again. They should have used the robot to come down and do a quick pick and drop when you are in the same area instead of the waste of time they have in the game.

Now for the good things. The audio is fantastic and I remember most parts of the game well because of the sound. The wii remote swinging crap is ok with me in this game and I feel like a pussy holding the remote in the air for the skyward move, still I'm ok with it and kind of think it works well. The dungeons are the shit in this game and right up there with Ocarina of time. Windwaker dungeons are ok, nothing like Skyward or Ocarina. These dungeons are clever and have imagination. They are also extremely entertaining to play. Each dungeon mixes it up so there is very little of the same thing in each of them. The game is beautiful, my eyes are pleased to see many cool things in this game (mostly in the dungeons).

This game is one of my favorite games of all time. The shitty parts of the game are so shitty that it distracted me from the beautiful parts of the game on my first play through. After some good time (about a hundred hours) I can focus on the good parts of the game and ignore the shitty parts. Life can be bitter sweet and so can video games.

Metroid Prime ruined

After writing my post about Metroid I did something horrible dumb and got an itch to play Metroid Prime. This game is ruined by those damn white fucks and especially the enemies that are in most all of the game, the guys that fly around shooting missiles at you. The exploration and kinda outdated graphics are ruined by this repetitive shit. I only played through it once when it first came out a long time ago. The game was cool looking then and even then I thought those enemies ruined the game. Pretty much all the enemies in the game are annoying and ruin the experience of enjoying oneself.

After all these years it definitely looks to me that the developers were pushed for a deadline and filled in the game with this crap. It is totally sucking major dick when you have to go back through the same areas and fight off the same bullshit time after time.

I have never said fuck Metroid Prime, today I am. FUCK you MP.

Advance Wars first class gaming

I purchased Advance Wars for the DS back when it first came out and didn't know anything about the game before I picked it up at a game store. I must have been bored out of my mind to simply buy a game like that without knowing what it was about. In this case it was a good move.

Advance Wars are my favorite strategy games and I like every one that has been released. The simplicity of the game makes the strategy the focus. It is like chess and better than chess in my opinion. My mind can get so involved in those games I don't think any other game can completely own all of my mind at once. I think I would take it personal if there was someone that said they didn't like the games to my face. Oh the respect I would lose for those that didn't find the beauty of the Advance Wars franchise.

Once I had learned about Advance Wars Dual Strike I tried the game boy advanced Advance Wars games and liked those big time as well. Then the latest came out Days of Ruin. That game is also the shit and I like the apocalyptic setting. There are changes in the game that I think improve upon the strategy. Days of Ruin is the most difficult of all of the games and I like the challenge. If I had to pick a favorite it would be Dual Strike.

I'm a bit irritated with the fact they haven't released another Advance Wars lately. Instead Fire Emblem has taken front seat. I tried out Fire Emblem games and didn't get into it. It is only a matter of time before there will be another. I will have to be patient. There is plenty to do in the existing games and that should take care of me until the next game. It would be excellent if they put out a console version and no battalion wars doesn't count. I want the real shit. I don't want real time strategy, I want turn base.

If you have not played any of the Advance Wars games and if you have a game boy advance or DS you are in luck and can go straight to Ebay for the goods. If you don't have a game boy advanced or DS, in my opinion it is more than worth buying a used DS to play any of the Advance war games.

Metroid: Nintendo Madness

Not all Metroid games are in my give a shit about pile. Super Metroid is an epic game. I go back and play this frequently. There are so many things about this game that draw me in. The game flows and keeps me wanting more even after playing it a hundred times. I exercise my brain each time I play remembering everything that has to be done to get to the end a champ. The visuals, the audio, the game play is all first class. Super creative design and unforgettable scenery make this game a classic I will never forget about. You would think that Nintendo would maybe exceed standards with the 2D handheld Metroid games and in my opinion they fall way short. It would be difficult to make a 2D Metroid game better than Super Metroid. Sure some will disagree, which is their problem not mine.

Metroid corruption is another one of my favorite games. I was living with a friend when the first Metroid Prime came out. I was in his room playing my new copy of Prime on a small ass tv. I didn't give a fuck, I was sucked in big time. I was totally into that game and it was so cool and new I thought I feared I might have been dreaming. I was pumped for Echoes and was let down. I was not a fan of that game and the dark crap you have to move around is boring and annoying. Most people like that game and I say go ahead and play it if you like. When corruption came out I didn't even bother with it because of echoes. I didn't play corruption until years later when I was bored at a game shop and picked it up. Then I started to play the beginning and thought the game was horrible and kind of dumb in  a way. I stuck with it like I should for most games and the juice started to flow. The game got better and better. I'm glad I kept playing because I would have never found out that the game is one of the best games ever made. I don't like the beginning so I played up to the point where I like the game and saved it in first slot. Every time I want to play I copy to second slot and that is the beginning of the game for me. I did this with skyward sword as well and any other game that has shit in the beginning I want to avoid.

Corruption is so good I don't have any desire to go back and play Prime. I have and it is a waste of time because it doesn't compare to corruption at all. Corruption exceeds the standard by miles and miles.
Corruption is a well put together game and way more open world. The atmosphere changes up throughout the game and so do ways of progressing. If you haven't played Metroid Corruption or Super Metroid you now know you need to dump your girlfriend and get both games and consoles pronto.

Metroid Other M is not even worth mentioning. Read other peoples opinions elsewhere and that is likely what I think of the game. I think Nintendo learned their lesson with that game. I highly doubt they will team up with that director or tecmo again.

The very first NES metroid started it all for me and is a classic. I have gone back to play the game and it has lost it's appeal. I skip it for Super Metroid every time.

Dead Space 3 Hollywood DRAMA and Super TEDIOUS repetitive game play

Dead Space 3 was a major let down. The story would have made a nice graphic cartoon. The game play was utter shit. If that was the very first Dead Space maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Dead Space 2 was killer awesome and built up upon the first Dead Space. DS3 was a pretty game and some of the art to the game was nice. Still the game play doesn't measure up with the other parts of the game and game play is basically the entire fucking game.

The Story with Ellie his girlfriend turned me on because it put some pussy drama into my life. I felt like I had been betrayed by the bitch and her new boyfriend was my arch nemesis. I have a huge hard on for space sci fi movies and games like Event Horizon and even the movie Moon comes to mind. When I saw the previews for the first Dead Space I was pumped hard. This horror style survive some shit game was super cool shit when I got my hands on it. The game was using some movies as idea foundations however this was a new idea for gaming and I was down big time. Dead Space two is over the top with coming through on the awesome game they were promising. The game was packed with life and kind of gave me a headache because there was so much on the screen at one time. I could go on and on about this game. Simply it is one of my favorites.

Dead Space 3 has zero build up with the game play. The music goes back and forth every time a monster pops out which is every three seconds. It reminds me of arcade shooters. This is no good, this is unacceptable. I get that they went where the money is however that is not enough. The money is where games are entertaining ya bunch of morons. I went pretty far into the game and felt it was tedious to keep going any further. I was so bored with the game and wanted to find out if Isaac would get Ellie back and if they would bang at some point. The ending of the second game was pretty cool and even wanting to know how the third game turned out I simply didn't want to progress any further. So I have no idea what happened to those two lovers. Isaac sure was a pussy in this game. Ellie was calling the shots and he was being a little bitch doing everything she told him to do. He was sad and bitter about the pairing with her new man. The new man is a goon and she is using him to make Isaac jealous. This is a Hollywood plot and I was into the drama. The plot stirred up old memories of girlfriends or the lack of girlfriends. To bad the game blows. Hey EA think about making a movie out of this plot.

Ellie teasing Isaac with her slutty bust

Game companies are ruining masterpieces. You get pumped about a game and trust the next one will be the shit. You pre-order the game and pick it up full price only to be utterly disappointed when you play it for three minutes. I can never trust any game right out. I have to find out about games after the release and seek out some kind of rental to spare myself the grief.

I do believe we haven't seen the last of Dead Space. I want Horror, I want to play a new, unique, engaging, experience. Make the game gruesome, make it dark and super tense. Give me heads and bodies exploding. Let me be able to shoot a thousand different enemies, let me shoot a thousand different guns. I want it to be difficult and feel powerful at the same time. I don't want anything predictable. Make the game mechanics smooth like butter. So give it to me mutha fukas. I also want to see Ellie naked. By the way give Isaac his balls back.

Splinter Cell Blacklist has many great Qualities in the gameplay

I finished playing all the way through the single player campaign PC version. At first I was skeptical as I started to play through. Differences were distracting me from seeing all the possibilities that this games has. I pushed through and the game started to reveal more.

You want action or you want stealth, it's up to you with this game and it doesn't feel like you have fucked up if you go the action route. It was satisfying however I chose to go. If you are into the game and learn about the different gadgets and weapons you will excel and play like a strategic champ. If you play the game like a meat head that is used to no brain run and gun games you will get fucked up and blame the game for being shitty.

I got killed a shit load of times and went back for more very pissed off. Since I have my game loaded on a solid state drive my reload time was only around 3-5 seconds. I could imagine this is shitty for people that have to wait each time they die to go back at it again. Reloading and loading times are a real pain in the ass and it would be a relief if gaming systems had SSD.

I haven't even touched the online part of the game and that has to be some great gaming, however I will leave that to other people. I'm not much of an online game guy, I get my ass kicked.

I have disliked cut scenes in video games and have wanted them to stay out and leave that shit to movies. This game is a rare occasion, I actually watched all of them all the way through. Even though the face movements have been better in games years passed the story was compelling and I enjoyed it. I'm surprising myself because I usually don't have this many good things to say about action games.

I am a fan of the old day splinter cells like pandora tomorrow and chaos theory. I liked rainbow six games and ghost recon 2 was good times. I never played splinter cell conviction and didn't really like the first splinter cell that came out with xbox 360. I never know what franchise will surprise me with a hit. This game is a hit and the best new game I've played sadly since Dead Space 2 or Skyward Sword, oh can't forget Donkey Kong country returns. All games that came out a while ago. I play all kinds of games so any kind of game could have been mentioned. Sure I like violence and I like to be involved in a game too. This game is very involving.

The replay will be fun times. I look forward to playing the shit out of this game and buying everything there is to buy. I want to be powerful like replaying Resident Evil 4. I do like to remember how to kill levels and this is cool because you can go through each campaign a different way. I want to be able to go through it hardcore stealth style and slice and dice everyone.

Things get mixed up and some people might not like this. I don't care if franchises change. What I care about is if the game is highly entertaining. The game plays good once you get the hang of how your character moves around. Learning curve will take a few hours. First play through is a learning experience all the way. My skill improved and later in the game I was dancing around enemies.

I looked up reviews and was surprised to see some people having a bad experience. I'm thinking these people are horrible at challenging games and I'm not talking about brutally slow paced hard games like Dark Souls. I'm saying you have to use your brain with this game and you have to accept change. It's not a simple game, there is a lot to it and that is a major part of the game being so awesome.

The Wii U version looks like it has some extras that I'm missing out on. The additional stuff on the pad looks pretty cool and is a good look at what that pad is capable of. When I get a Wii U I will have to give it a play.

While I play the game I'm reminded of games like Snake Eater and Manhunt. Both of these games were the shit and I like being reminded of classics when I play a game. It is a good direction for gaming to go in my opinion.

Like I say there are tons of shitty games put out and very few are gems. This game is a gem.

Shadow of Colossus Epic game of the century

Shadow of colossus my third favorite game of all time and as far as creativity goes it is my favorite game. When I looked at still images before the game came out I was very interested in the concept. It wasn't clear to me how the game would play. All I knew was the visuals looked amazing. Once I had the game and was playing the first colossus I went ape. I couldn't believe that other game developers couldn't make more games like this one. This game had surpassed so many other games and the originality of the game was way above the norm.

The fact that there are no enemies along the way to the colossus makes the game that more interesting. I am familiar with games having enemies along the way in every adventure game I've played. This was fresh and took balls to stray away from what people are used to. The center focus was exploring this rich world filled with different landscapes and slaying different types of colossus.

One colossus that sticks out in my mind is the bird you hop on over the lake. Once I got to that area and jumped in the water I was liking the art and how the water looked the right shade and the atmosphere felt real. Latching onto the bird colossus as it fly's by is awesome.

Stabbing the colossus in the sweet spot and blood spurting out is a highlight in the game. Now this is gaming and the climax is rewarding. Try to stay a hold of the colossus while they try to shake you off gives the game life. The movements the colossus make are right on the mark. I read an article about how a lot of focus went into making it feel like the colossus where very big in the game. The movements had a lot to do with this illusion.

I have the PS3 HD version and I don't like it. The controls feel different and there is a zooming in I don't like. Also it feels fucked up with climbing around on the colossus. Maybe it's only me I don't know, fuck the HD. If I'm going to play the game I plug my PS2 in and play it how I'm used to playing it.

Ico was an ok game and I enjoyed it kind of. That game is a play it once and that is it game for me game. Don't get me wrong there is some cool shit in the game, nothing like Shadow of Colossus though.

Like many people I have had my sights on The Last Guardian. I will wait ten years for a game to be made epic. This is looking like a PS4 release which is fucked because 80% of the reason why I bought a PS3 was for this game. If the game takes another four years to make then fuck it let it be. That release will be one of the biggest anticipated games of all time. Only a game like Shadow of Colossus could build that much curiosity about what the next game would be like. I think this is why the game is taking so much time to come out. This is a lot of pressure and if the game is going to be better than the previous that is a hefty task.

If you have never played Shadow of Colossus your shit is fucked up and a PS2 slim and the game should be your very next purchase.
